The MINIMALLY INVASIVE CORRECTION SYSTEM FOR PECTUS EXCAVATUM is a set of implantable devices developed for the surgical correction of Pectus Excavatum, a congenital deformity of the anterior chest wall.

Lifting the sternum favors the correction of Pectus Excavatum, allowing lateral access to the bar with less effort and reducing the likelihood of injuries caused by bar rotation.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Implants made of Pure Titanium and Titanium Alloy provide greater biocompatibility and mechanical resistance;
  • Stabilizers with two screws allow locking in any medial or lateral position on the bars, according to the technique and anatomy of each patient;
  • Stabilizers for perpendicular or oblique installation relative to the bar, as well as options with extended ends for greater system versatility;
  • Stabilization system between multiple bars, allowing stable union for chest wall support;
  • Possibility of bilateral access provides greater ergonomics and safety for the surgeon during surgical maneuvers.
