• The Traumec Microdissection Needle is made of stainless steel shafts with standard diameters of 1.6mm and 2.4mm, compatible with most monopolar pens used for cauterization. The tip is made of tungsten alloy, a material that offers high temperature resistance, allowing effective use while keeping the tip sharp. The shaft is coated with a high-temperature-resistant insulating polymer, a highly dielectric material that primarily protects the patient from potential trauma to adjacent tissues.
